Educational, Safety, and Ecological Spaces: Creating Safe Forest Welfare Facilities
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) has signed a business agreement with the Sasang District Office of Busan (District Mayor Cho Byunggil) for the creation of a forest road and ecological wetland on Seunghaksan Mountain.
The signing ceremony, held at the Sasang District Office on the 30th of last month, was attended by President Lee, District Mayor Cho, Lee Sungho, Dean of the College of Design and Environment at Dong-A University, Kwon Taejung, Director of the Construction Management Headquarters, and officials from the Sasang District Office.
This agreement aims to create and manage a forest road (a road built for transporting forest products or for forest management) and an ecological wetland in the Seunghaksan Mountain area of Eomgung-dong, Sasang District, Busan.
The two institutions have agreed to cooperate in establishing the Seunghaksan forest road and ecological wetland, creating spaces for education, safety, and ecological use through industry-academic collaboration, and providing a safe forest welfare environment.
President Lee stated, "The Seunghaksan forest road and ecological wetland established through this agreement will become a new forest leisure space for Sasang residents and a place for natural ecology learning and research for Dong-A University members. I hope that Dong-A University and the Sasang District Office of Busan will continue to share their accumulated experience and maintain close cooperation and exchange in various fields in the future."
