RaonMeta Signs Business Agreement with Samwoo Immersion and VRAD to Expand Practical Training Content

Raon Meta, a subsidiary of Raon Secure, is continuously enhancing its business competitiveness by expanding the lineup of healthcare practice content for Metademy, a metaverse-based specialized practice service.

Raon Meta (CEO Lee Soon-hyung), a generative AI-based metaverse platform specialist, has signed separate memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for collaboration on metaverse-based healthcare practice content within Metademy with Samwoo Immersion (CEO Kim Dae-hee), an extended reality (XR) solution company specializing in industrial fields, and VRAD (CEO Lee Hee-seok), a virtual reality medical education simulator company.

Through these MOUs, Raon Meta will introduce Samwoo Immersion’s practical content on myofascial trigger point therapy and muscle and muscle function practice?key components of actual physical therapy processes?as well as VRAD’s head and neck anatomy practice content that can be performed without anatomical cadavers, to Metademy.

Raon Meta recently launched experimental animal autopsy practice content and now offers a variety of healthcare practice content including physical therapy, nursing skills, and head and neck anatomy. It expects institutions and trainees in the medical and healthcare fields, where repetitive practice is essential, to show great interest in Metademy’s diverse practice content.

Samwoo Immersion, which holds the largest number of XR content intellectual property (IP) rights in Korea, provides XR technology-based solutions to over 800 clients including government agencies, educational institutions, and large corporations. After launching physical therapy practice content, it plans to discuss adding job training content such as semiconductor equipment disassembly and assembly, as well as industrial safety practice content.

VRAD produces immersive content for the medical field and supplies solutions to over 100 institutions domestically and internationally, exporting content to the United States and Southeast Asia. Raon Meta is also pursuing the addition of VRAD’s multi-user collaboration severe trauma practice content and oral radiology practice content.
