Jeonbuk Office of Education's 'Career and College Admission Talk Concert' Gains Popularity

EBS Top Entrance Exam Instructors and Experts Gather
Additional Sessions in 5 Locations Including Jeongeup Until November

Career and college admission talk concerts, which explore the latest directions in career paths and college admissions and how to prepare accordingly, are gaining popularity.


The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Geo-seok) announced on the 31st that it held the '2024 Career and College Admission Talk Concert' at the JJ Art Hall in the Arts Center of Jeonju University. The talk concert was aimed at students, parents, and teachers seeking various information in line with the changing landscape of career paths and college admissions.

The talk concert was conducted through a career expert’s special lecture and a panel discussion featuring a leading EBS admissions instructor and the Jeonbuk College Admission and Career Support Team.


Cho Jin-pyo, CEO of Wise Mentor, gave a special lecture titled "Career Guide According to Changes in Future Education Trends." Cho emphasized, "It is important to understand the diversity of admission choices due to changes in university entrance exams and to design and manage a career path that suits oneself."


The panel discussion included EBS admissions instructor Yoon Yoon-gu, teacher at Hanyang University Education High School; Jeong Je-won, teacher at Sungui Girls' High School; Jang Jin-ho (Jeongeup High School), teacher from the Jeonbuk College Admission Support Team; Park Sang-yong, teacher at Jeonju National University of Education High School; and Cho Chang-nyeong, teacher at Gochangbuk High School. They provided detailed guidance on ▲how to choose high schools according to school types ▲how to prepare for the CSAT by period ▲how to manage student records ▲regional talent selection ▲elective subjects under the high school credit system ▲and admission strategies according to different screening methods.


The Jeonbuk Office of Education expects this talk concert to greatly assist students in designing their career paths by setting clear directions for their careers and providing accurate information for college admission preparation.


The Career and College Admission Talk Concert will continue on ▲September 21 in Jeongeup (Jeongeupsa Arts Center) ▲October 5 in Namwon (Kensington Resort Jirisan Namwon) ▲October 12 in Jinan (Jinan Culture House My Hall) ▲October 26 in Iksan (Wonkwang University Prime Hall Conference Room) ▲and November 9 in Gunsan (Gunsan University 1st Student Hall Gochungon Hall).


Yu Hyo-seon, Director of Secondary Education, said, "Today’s event confirmed the strong desire of parents and students for career and college admission information," adding, "We will carefully prepare to provide customized career and college admission information reflecting regional characteristics in the upcoming talk concerts."
