Technical Guidance, Consulting, and Safety Training Support at Construction Sites
Busan Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) signed a business agreement with the Construction Facility Regional Safety Center of the Korea Industrial Safety Association on the 26th to achieve a ZERO major accident safety workplace. The Korea Industrial Safety Association is a non-profit public organization registered with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Construction Facility Regional Safety Center is a specialized institution in the field of construction safety, leading the prevention of construction accidents and the realization of an accident-free industrial society through technical guidance at construction sites, industrial safety inspections, Design for Safety (DFS) reviews, and customized consulting related to the construction industry.
This agreement was implemented to establish a mutually organic cooperation system between BMC and the Korea Industrial Safety Association, create construction sites free from major accidents, and spread a safety culture by securing expertise in safety inspections.
The two organizations plan to cooperate in various areas, including ▲ information exchange for the prevention of major accidents ▲ support and consulting for safety inspections ▲ promotion and safety education support for spreading a safety culture ▲ introduction and application of new construction safety technologies such as smart safety equipment.
Kim Yonghak, President of Busan Metropolitan Corporation, stated, "Through this agreement, we will enhance our expertise and capabilities in construction safety and do our utmost to protect workers by preventing accidents and creating safe construction sites free from major accidents."
Busan Urban Corporation is signing a business agreement with the Korea Industrial Safety Association to achieve ZERO serious accidents.
