Woori Card announced on the 30th that it has completely revamped its simple payment (pay) service Woori Pay to 'Woori WON (WON) Pay.'
Woori Card has internalized and diversified the offline payment methods of Woori WON Pay. Starting with building its own merchant network, it has established proprietary payment services including ▲common QR and barcode for card companies ▲Samsung Pay ▲brand company Near Field Communication (NFC) ▲Touch and Go NFC. Previously, payment services were provided using payment methods from partner merchants such as BC Card and Payco.
With Woori WON Pay, multiple employees can register a single corporate shared card and use it. Simple payments are now possible on each person's mobile phone without a physical card both online and offline. Additionally, convenience has been improved by reducing the payment steps on the Woori WON Pay main screen and increasing execution speed by more than 20%.
To celebrate the new look of Woori WON Pay, Woori Card will hold an event. Starting next month, Woori WON Pay users can participate in promotions offering up to 100% billing discounts. Detailed information about the service and events can be found on the Woori Card website and the Woori WON Card application (app).
A Woori Card official stated, "We focused on improving convenience, accessibility, and speed while staying true to the core function of payment in revamping Woori WON Pay," adding, "We will strive to establish a fully independent system in the pay market."
