Focus HNS announced on the 30th that demand for its video surveillance solutions is increasing following the first arrest case under the Serious Accidents Punishment Act.
A company representative stated, “Due to recent consecutive fire incidents and the occurrence of arrest cases under the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, demand for video storage devices, artificial intelligence (AI) cameras, and environmental sensors is rising. We will expand our supply channels and drive performance growth based on various references and advanced technological capabilities.”
Focus HNS supplies AI-based physical security and monitoring solutions. Video storage devices and closed-circuit television (CCTV) account for the majority of its sales.
Recently, the company held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a board meeting to approve amendments to the articles of incorporation for adding new business purposes and appointing directors. The newly added business purposes include ▲manufacturing of metal processed products and structural metal products ▲manufacturing of road traffic facilities, prefabricated structures, metal assemblies, and transport buildings ▲and trading of computer systems, electronic components, and others.
On the 8th, the company participated in the Future Education Expo to introduce AI deep learning safety solutions focused on accident prevention, safety management, and crisis response.
Meanwhile, on the same day, the CEO and general headquarters chief of the primary battery company Arisel were arrested on charges of violating the Serious Accidents Punishment Act. This is the first case of a company CEO being arrested since the act’s enforcement in 2022.
