Naver announced on the 30th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Patent Attorneys Association to provide patent attorney profile information.
Through this agreement, Naver and the Korean Patent Attorneys Association plan to support the registration of profile information on Naver for approximately 6,800 full members belonging to the association.
Naver Profiles added fields such as years of experience, activity region, and foreign language skills to profiles last July, enabling experts in various fields to emphasize their expertise in more diverse ways.
Additionally, since April, Naver has started a service that displays the official mark of affiliated organizations in the profile search result area. Currently, the official marks of organizations such as the Korea Technology Association, Korea Certified Labor Consultants Association, and Korean Association of Public Administration are displayed on experts’ profiles upon their request.
Naver continues efforts to expand the diversity of experts accessible through search by building cooperative relationships with various institutions. This year, it has formed partnerships to provide expert profile information with organizations including the Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency, Korea Technology Association, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
Yoo Bong-seok, Head of Policy and RM (Risk Management) at Naver, stated, "We will continue to support the registration of diverse experts’ profiles on Naver through cooperation with various institutions and continuous service improvements."
