At the meeting, attended by about 100 sellers, Hyunsoo Park, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of 11st, introduced the new sales support program, a fast payment system, and various seller support programs of 11st. They also listened to sellers' opinions about the support program.
First, ahead of the major distribution season of Chuseok, a special Chuseok promotional event will be held in early September for sellers who need to expand their sales channels. Sellers participating in the event will immediately receive advertising points worth 1 million KRW.
New sellers joining 11st for the first time can receive 600,000 advertising points as part of the new seller support benefits provided by 11st, while original sellers can receive an additional 500,000 advertising points. Original sellers are those who have their own unique products and brands, and 11st’s seller growth support program offers them a 'zero (0%) commission' benefit until they reach sales of 10 million KRW.
If sellers take advantage of all these benefits, they can use advertising points worth up to 2.1 million KRW per seller. 11st plans to help increase sales by enabling sellers to expose their products in highly visible places to customers through advertising points.
Additionally, to help sellers quickly adapt to the 11st system, a 'dedicated merchandise planner (MD) system' will be operated. Through dedicated MDs, customized support programs will be proposed for each seller, and various opportunities to participate in events will be provided.
Support will also be provided for the production of 'Live11,' 11st’s live broadcast service. Producers, show hosts, and MDs of Live11 will participate to plan broadcasts for each seller, offering sales opportunities through live broadcasts.
Shin Jeong-gwon, chairman of the Black Umbrella Emergency Committee, a group of sellers affected by payment delays, said, "It is very meaningful that 11st took the initiative to listen to the voices of affected sellers and set up a place to propose support programs," adding, "Many sellers are in difficult situations, but I hope this will be an opportunity to achieve a win-win through sales activation with 11st."
Hyunsoo Park, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of 11st, said, "We prepared the meeting with small and medium-sized sellers because I believe that standing together is more helpful than standing alone," and added, "We will continue to listen to opinions through ongoing communication and create policies that can provide more practical help."
