Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that his goal is to score 1000 goals.

On the 28th (KST), Ronaldo uploaded a video titled "Thoughts and Truths about the 2024-2025 Season and My Future. A Conversation with Friend Rio Ferdinand" on his YouTube channel. In the video, he invited his former Manchester United FC teammate Ferdinand to film together. The two discussed various topics including Ronaldo's performance and passion since transferring to the Saudi Professional League, as well as the criticisms he has faced.

He stated, "My goal is to score 1000 goals while playing football. If I stay injury-free, I want to play until I am 41 and achieve this record." He added, "First, I need to score 900 goals. Then the next goal is to reach 1000 goals." What sparked attention was Ronaldo's following remark. He added, "All my goals are recorded on video," which left room for controversy as it was seen as a possible jab at Brazilian footballer Pel?.

Ronaldo currently has a total of 899 goals (769 for clubs and 130 in A matches), so he needs just one more goal to reach 900. Pel? is known to have scored over 1000 goals including unofficial friendly matches. However, his official goal record only recognizes 757 goals scored during his time at Brazil's Santos and the United States' New York Cosmos. Ronaldo pointed out that having video evidence of all his goals is a distinguishing factor compared to other football legends. He also added, "Of course, I respect people like Pel? and Di St?fano."

Meanwhile, on the 21st (KST), Ronaldo launched the YouTube channel "UR-Christiano." The channel surpassed 1 million subscribers in just 1 hour and 29 minutes, achieving the 'Gold Button' award in the shortest time ever. As of the 29th, the channel has an astonishing 51.6 million subscribers.
