Beauty platform company CTK announced that it has received a ‘Silver Medal’ with a high score placing it in the top 15% from EcoVadis, a global ESG supply chain assessment organization. As a global cosmetics ODM consulting firm, CTK plans to further solidify its market leadership.
EcoVadis is a global platform that evaluates corporate sustainability across four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. As ‘sustainability’ has become an important trend in the cosmetics industry, EcoVadis’ evaluation results serve as a crucial indicator for enhancing a company’s brand image and reputation.
Receiving the ‘Silver Rating,’ awarded only to the top 15% of companies, signifies that CTK has already achieved significant results in the specialized areas related to sustainability mentioned above, and suggests that the company’s internal management system is firmly established. In other words, CTK has proven its competitiveness as a more trustworthy partner in collaboration with global cosmetics brands.
CTK actively utilizes the evaluation results in marketing and customer communication. It is expected to have a positive impact on attracting new customers who prioritize sustainability. The company plans to make further strides aiming to achieve Gold and Platinum ratings in the future.
Choi Chi-ho, CEO of CTK Cosmetics, stated, "At a time when the importance of ESG is growing worldwide, CTK’s acquisition of the Silver rating proves that we are practicing sustainability in line with global standards," adding, "We will continue to provide greater value to our customers and society."
