Large-Scale Development Project in Suyeong-gu Area... 'Gwangan Centum Vista Dongwon' Attracts Attention [Gwangan Centum Vista Dongwon Perspective View]

Busan's Suyeong-gu, where development projects are actively underway, is gaining attention as an emerging residential town in Busan.

Located in the eastern part of Busan, Suyeong-gu is a highly preferred residential area due to its well-developed transportation system connecting the city center and outskirts, centered around Suyeong Intersection, with subway lines 2 and 3 passing through. It borders the coast to the south and functions as a marine tourist destination with attractions such as Gwangalli Beach, Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and Millak Waterfront Park.

In the Suyeong-gu area, a residential belt of more than 19,000 newly built apartment units is being established. Redevelopment and reconstruction projects such as Mangmi 1 Redevelopment (Suyeong SK View), Millak 1 Redevelopment (The Sharp Centum Foret), Gwang-an 2 Reconstruction (Gwang-an Eilin's Garden), and Namcheon 2 Reconstruction (Namcheon Kolon Haneulchae Golden Beach, Namcheon Kumho Eoullim The Beach) have already been completed. Meanwhile, Gwang-an 5 Redevelopment, Mangmi 5 Redevelopment, Mangmi 7 Redevelopment, and Suyeong 1 Reconstruction have passed preliminary feasibility reviews. Additionally, Millak 4 Redevelopment and Gwang-an 4 Redevelopment are actively progressing.

An industry insider stated, “Although Suyeong-gu is smaller in area compared to Haeundae-gu, which is considered Busan’s representative affluent district, redevelopment and reconstruction projects along the coastline from Millak-dong to Gwang-an-dong and Namcheon-dong are gaining momentum, drawing attention as an emerging affluent area.”

Meanwhile, Dongwon Development plans to supply ‘Gwang-an Centum Vista Dongwon’ in the Gwang-an-dong area of Suyeong-gu, Busan’s residential hub, this coming September.

The complex will consist of 7 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 525 units sized between 59 and 84 square meters, of which 208 units will be available for general supply. The units are composed by exclusive area as follows: ▲84A 190 units ▲84B 39 units ▲59A 114 units ▲59B 98 units ▲59C 84 units.

Gwang-an Centum Vista Dongwon is equipped with various living infrastructures necessary for residential life, such as transportation and education. Mangmi Station on Busan Subway Line 3 is located 300 meters away, and Suyeong Station (a transfer station for Lines 2 and 3) is 500 meters away, making it a double-station area apartment. Through Line 3, passengers can transfer to Line 1 at Yeonsan Station, and Line 2 connects Seomyeon to Yangsan.

Access to major areas of Busan is convenient via Mangmi Beonyeong-ro in front of the complex, and accessibility to Centum City and Haeundae is excellent. Additionally, the ‘Mandeok-Centum Underground Expressway,’ which will connect Mandeok in Buk-gu, Busan, and Centum in Haeundae via a 9.55 km underground route, is scheduled to open. Once completed in 2026 (planned), accessibility to nearby areas is expected to improve further.

The complex is adjacent to Centum City, allowing easy access to BEXCO, Shinsegae Department Store, and Lotte Department Store Centum City Branch, as well as convenient use of various lifestyle facilities such as E-Mart Traders and Costco.

Gwang-an Centum Vista Dongwon boasts a one-stop school zone within a 500-meter radius, with elementary, middle, and high schools all nearby. Residents can walk to nearby schools including Suyeong Elementary School, Sumi Elementary School, Gwang-an Middle School, and Deokmun Girls’ High School. Moreover, the residential environment is pleasant due to its proximity to Busan’s representative attractions such as Gwangalli Beach, Geumryeonsan Mountain, and Hwangnyeongsan Mountain.

The model house for Gwang-an Centum Vista Dongwon is scheduled to be located near Centum City Station in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
