Gwangju Urban Corporation Delivers 450 Boxes of Muan Onion Juice

For Residents of Ssangchon Siyeong 3rd Complex Permanent Rental
Promoting Cooperation with Muan County, a Candidate Site for Airport Relocation

Gwangju Urban Corporation recently delivered 450 boxes of onion juice from Muan to residents of Ssangchon Siyeong 3rd Permanent Rental Housing Complex.

This event was organized to promote mutual growth with Muan County, the site of the Gwangju Metropolitan City military airport relocation project, and to improve the health of the corporation's rental housing residents.

Gwangju Urban Corporation purchased approximately 7.5 million KRW worth of onion juice from Muan County onion farmers, who have been struggling this year due to reduced sunlight. The onion juice was then delivered to rental housing residents to help them stay healthy during the hot summer.

The onion juice delivery was conducted jointly with the Ssangchon Siyeong Comprehensive Welfare Center, where residents' well-being was checked and consultations on health status and living conditions were also provided.

Jung Min-gon, president of Gwangju Urban Corporation, stated, “We hope that consuming the high-quality onion juice grown in Muan County will help improve health,” and added, “We will continue to promote various projects for regional coexistence and the enhancement of housing welfare.”
