Jeongeup-si-Da-il Development Co., Ltd.-NongHyup Join Hands to Promote Jeongeup Rice Consumption

Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk Province and key related organizations have joined hands to promote the consumption of Jeongeup rice and support the campaign to sell rice.


According to Jeongeup City on the 28th, on the 27th, Mayor Lee Hak-su, Chairman Kim Ho-seok of Da-il Development Co., Ltd., Lee Jae-yeon, head of the Jeongeup branch of NongHyup Bank, and Heo Soo-jong, chairman of the Jeongeup City Cooperative Management Council, gathered to sign the "Jeongeup Rice Consumption Expansion Business Agreement."

Through this agreement, Da-il Development Co., Ltd. plans to actively use rice processed products produced in Jeongeup as souvenirs and snacks at various events and gatherings, continuously cooperating to expand the consumption of Jeongeup rice.


Da-il Development Co., Ltd. is an environmental specialist company. It operates several affiliates including designated waste disposal, soil and groundwater environmental assessment, and civil engineering. Jeongeup is home to the Naejangsan Country Club.


Mayor Lee Hak-su stated, "This agreement is part of the rice consumption promotion campaign aimed at resolving excess rice stock and stabilizing rice prices," adding, "We will do our best to solve the problems of local agricultural cooperatives struggling with excess stock and to expand the market for Jeongeup rice."
