NCSoft to Launch New Collectible MMORPG 'Hoyeon' in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan

NCSoft announced on the 28th that it has launched its new collectible MMORPG, "Hoyeon."

Starting from 10 a.m. on the same day, NCSoft began offering Hoyeon services in three Asian regions: Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Players can enjoy Hoyeon on ▲NC's cross-play platform PURPLE ▲Google Play ▲Apple App Store ▲Galaxy Store.

Hoyeon is set three years before NCSoft's intellectual property (IP) "Blade & Soul," depicting the adventure of the protagonist "Yuseol" as he strives to rebuild his family.

Users can experience the fun of "deck building" by strategically combining over 60 heroes according to the situation. The game features real-time field battles emphasizing control and character combinations, as well as a turn-based battle mode with enhanced strategic elements. A switching function is also provided to enjoy both battle types simultaneously.

To celebrate the launch of Hoyeon, NCSoft is hosting various events. Through the "Yeongmyo's 7-Day Festa," users can challenge new missions every day for a week after logging in and earn rewards such as "Shinseok" and "Hero Recruitment Pass." Upon completing the mission on day 1, users receive a "Special Hero Confirmation Ticket."

Until the 11th of next month, the "Starlight Hero Invitation" event will be held. Users can recruit heroes once daily, and after 30 recruitments, heroes such as "Yuran" and "Susam" will be guaranteed.
