Jeonbuk's First Exhibition... Open Until the 16th of Next Month
Jinan-gun, Jeonbuk, will host the '2024 Scissors Museum Special Exhibition.'
This exhibition will be held from the 27th to October 16th at the Jinan Scissors Museum, marking the first time in Jeonbuk with the theme 'Carrie and Friends in the Scissors Museum.' It is conducted in collaboration with CarrieSoft Co., Ltd.
CarrieSoft Co., Ltd. started with the YouTube channel 'Carrie and Toy Friends,' which has 2.06 million subscribers. Currently, under the slogan 'Make Kids Happy,' it is a company providing various children's content through the Carrie TV broadcasting channel.

Jinan-gun planned the 'Carrie and Friends' pop-up exhibition, a representative children's video content, to provide an opportunity for children to experience the characters they had only seen in videos in real life.
At the pop-up exhibition, visitors can enjoy a photo zone with 'Carrie and Friends' characters, making paper squash toys, decorating party hats, coloring activities, and a toy play area. Although small in scale, the exhibition is planned with a rich composition. 'Carrie and Friends' is a video character that is very popular among children, and a strong response is expected.
Previously, the Jinan Scissors Museum held a special exhibition last year titled 'Bread Barber Shop in the Scissors Museum,' linked to the museum's theme of scissors, which received much positive feedback.
A county official said, "We hope this special exhibition will make the museum a special and enjoyable experience for children," adding, "We will continue to strive to make the Scissors Museum a place that people visit often and keep close, like scissors."
Meanwhile, the 'Jinan Scissors Museum' opened in 2016 within Maisan Provincial Park. It is the world's only scissors museum exhibiting scissors from around the world, including iron scissors from the Goryeo Dynasty excavated in Sucheon-ri, a submerged area of the Yongdam Dam.
