Chaicommunication Achieves 40.3 Billion KRW in Naver Ad Sales for First Half of the Year

Chaicommunication, which is set to merge with Korea SPAC No. 11, announced on the 28th that it achieved 40.3 billion KRW in Naver advertising transaction volume in the first half of this year. Chaicommunication is a top-tier partner of Naver and is expected to benefit from the delayed settlement incidents involving TMON and WEMAKEPRICE.

Chaicommunication provides advertising services across all areas of Naver advertising, including △search ads △display ads △shopping ads △brand ads. Since 2007, it has been selected as an official partner for Naver search ads and has maintained a partnership with Naver.

With the digital advertising market expanding significantly after COVID-19, Chaicommunication’s performance in the Naver advertising sector is also growing. Last year, Naver ads accounted for 60% of Chaicommunication’s performance marketing division’s transaction volume. Over the past three years, the performance marketing business division’s results have steadily expanded by an average of 7% annually.

Recently, due to the Qoo10 incidents involving TMON and WEMAKEPRICE, Chaicommunication’s growth in Naver advertising performance is expected to accelerate. The company explained that since existing users of TMON and WEMAKEPRICE are anticipated to migrate to Naver, the largest open market in Korea, demand for Naver ads is likely to increase.

A representative from Chaicommunication stated, “By providing all marketing solutions including brand, content, and performance, we have succeeded in maximizing order competitiveness and Naver advertising effectiveness,” and emphasized, “Based on differentiated marketing capabilities, we have maintained a top-tier position domestically in terms of transaction volume among Naver advertising partners.”

He added, “Naver advertising accounts for a significant portion of Chaicommunication’s performance marketing division and, due to the close partnership with Naver, the upward trend in performance is expected to continue. With the large-scale influx of sellers and consumers caused by the TMON and WEMAKEPRICE incidents, we also anticipate benefits from the expansion of the Naver advertising market.”
