Hantoo Asset Management, ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE Achieves Excellent Returns

Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 28th that the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) recorded the highest year-to-date return among domestically listed semiconductor ETFs.

According to the Korea Exchange, the year-to-date return of the ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE ETF was 44.63%. During the same period, the average return of 41 domestically listed semiconductor ETFs, including leveraged products, was only 12.07%. Over the same period, the product saw net individual purchases amounting to 143.2 billion KRW. This is understood to be due to continued positive expectations for semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI)-related companies despite the volatile market.

The ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE ETF recorded a 6-month return of 16.32%, ranking second among semiconductor ETFs. The first place was held by the ACE Nvidia Bond Mixed Bloomberg ETF with an 18.85% return, with both top spots occupied by ACE ETFs during the same period.

The ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE ETF’s recent 1-year return reached 64.81%. The 1-year return of the ACE Nvidia Bond Mixed Bloomberg ETF, which ranked first in the 6-month return, was 42.31%.

The ACE Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus SOLACTIVE ETF classifies the global semiconductor industry into four sectors: ▲Memory ▲Non-memory ▲Semiconductor Equipment ▲Foundry, and concentrates investment by allocating about 20% each to the top company in each sector, totaling around 80%. The underlying index it tracks is the ‘Solactive Global Semiconductor TOP4 Plus Index.’
