4by4, Global Video Solution Company SGO Collaborate on Business Partnership

Content AI solution provider Fobaifo announced on the 28th that it has signed a basic mutual business cooperation agreement with the global video solution company SGO for product development and feature integration.

Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, SGO developed the high-end professional solution series 'MISTIKA,' used for post-production in video production by experts in major Hollywood film studios in the United States, as well as in broadcasting, advertising, and new media.

The Mistika solution performs almost all processes related to post-production of high-quality video, including various effects that maximize video quality, such as color adjustment (Color DI, Grading), dynamic range adjustment of light (HDR), implementation of stereoscopic 3D effects, application of special visual effects (VFX), compositing, and mastering.

Recently, SGO added various software services such as ‘Mistika VR,’ which has become an essential tool for VR content production through its sophisticated stitching technology (Stitching, a video compositing technique that minimizes distortion in 360-degree videos), and ‘Mistika Workflows,’ which enables effective content management.

Through the basic agreement, both companies plan to integrate Fobaifo’s proprietary image quality enhancement and upscaling AI solution ‘PIXELL’ as a node within Mistika Workflows. As a result, content producers worldwide using the Mistika solution will be able to conveniently use PIXELL during their workflows.

PIXELL’s AI upscaling function not only improves image quality but also significantly reduces processing time and costs during VFX and post-production of high-resolution video content such as 4K and 8K. Fobaifo aims to develop PIXELL as a dedicated node product compatible with Mistika and to have it integrated into the service within this year.
