Support for Sales Channels and Marketing with Lotte Mart and Others
Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province signed a business agreement on the 26th with Lotte Mart and the Gyeongbuk Small Business Cooperative Association for a local market partnership in large metropolitan supermarkets.
At the signing ceremony, key officials including Lee Namcheol, Governor of Goryeong County, Bae Jangho, Head of the Yeongnam Western Region at Lotte Mart, and Kwon Kisang, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Small Business Cooperative Association (Gyeongsokhyeop), attended. The three organizations pledged to establish a cooperative system based on mutual trust and support to promote joint regional growth.
The agreement includes support and consultation for expanding sales channels and marketing to strengthen the promotion and sales of Goryeong County’s agricultural specialties and processed products, as well as cooperation for the sale of outstanding products.
An official from the county stated that this agreement is expected to expand the distribution range, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness through Lotte Mart’s extensive distribution network and large customer base. In addition, with the logistics system and operational know-how of Lotte Mart and Gyeongsokhyeop, operational efficiency is expected to improve, and the value of local food can be effectively communicated.
Governor Lee Namcheol said, “This agreement will serve as an important milestone in opening a new chapter of coexistence and economic growth for the region,” adding, “Starting with this, I expect that Goryeong County’s agricultural specialties, rich in nature and tradition, will be widely promoted nationwide.”
