Participate in KakaoTalk Reservations and Chuseok Accommodation Sale Festa

Kakao announced on the 27th that it will participate in the '2024 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa with the Chuseok Holiday,' hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, through KakaoTalk Reservation.

Until the 29th of next month, Kakao will offer discount coupons on a first-come, first-served basis for over 10,000 domestic accommodations via KakaoTalk Reservation. The discount applies to non-metropolitan areas excluding Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province. Users can receive a 30,000 KRW discount coupon when purchasing accommodation products worth 70,000 KRW or more, and a 20,000 KRW discount coupon for purchases under 70,000 KRW.

BC Card users can tag KakaoTalk Reservation in the Paybook MyTag simple payment application and receive an additional 2,000 KRW discount when paying 30,000 KRW or more, which can be combined with other discounts.

Discount coupons can be downloaded daily from 10 a.m. by clicking the 'Reservation' icon in the More tab within KakaoTalk or by pressing the 'Suksepe' button on the initial screen of the KakaoMap app, which leads to the reservation event page. In particular, in the KakaoMap app, users can also check the coupons on the detailed screen that appears when searching for 'Accommodation Sale Festa' or accommodation facilities such as lodging, hotels, and pensions.

Along with participating in this Accommodation Sale Festa, Kakao is also running the 'Refresh Week' promotion offering discounts on tickets, leisure products, and more until the 8th of next month.

Meanwhile, the Korea Accommodation Sale Festa is a public-private cooperation project conducted with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to revitalize domestic travel and stimulate consumption. Kakao has been participating since October last year, marking its fourth time, contributing to supporting domestic travel and revitalizing regional tourism.
