Singer Sean (53), known as a representative runner in the entertainment industry, revealed surprisingly healthy medical checkup results. On the 26th, a video titled "I am fully disclosing my health condition that everyone is worried about" was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘With Sean’. Sean said, “Many people are curious about the condition of my joints, so I came to the hospital for a health checkup. I haven’t had a health checkup even once in the past 10 years.” On this day, Sean visited the rehabilitation medicine department and underwent X-rays, lower body muscle strength measurement, autonomic nervous system tests, and body water composition tests.

The doctor who examined Sean’s X-rays said, “The curve of the lower back is a perfect C-shape. There are very few people who draw a C-shape at Sean’s age, but his is perfect.” He added, “The condition of his blood vessels is like that of a teenager. I have never seen anyone like this before. The elasticity of his arteries and peripheral blood vessels is extremely good. There is no need to worry about stroke or myocardial infarction at all.” Regarding the autonomic nervous system test results, which assess tension, stress levels, and fatigue, the doctor said, “Everything is normal. Despite running so much, his fatigue level is very low. I thought his fatigue would definitely be high, but it’s normal. That’s really impressive.”

The doctor also admired Sean’s joints, saying, “His joints could be considered those of someone in their 20s or 30s.” He explained, “The biggest concern is knee health, but the joints are fine at this level. Many people suffer from patellar malalignment syndrome, but his patella is positioned symmetrically.” He continued, “His ankle joints are also fine. There is no difference from those in their 20s or 30s. They are that good.” When Sean asked, “How long can I keep running?” the doctor reassured him by saying, “You could probably run until you’re 100 years old. Your muscles, joints, blood vessels, and heart are all in great condition. Congratulations.”

Since 2020, Sean has participated as a campaign ambassador for the '815 Run,' which takes place on Liberation Day to honor the dedication and sacrifice of independence activists and to support their descendants by running 81.5 km. The donations collected from completing the '815 Run' are used to build homes for descendants of independence activists in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Korea, an international nonprofit housing organization. Last year alone, donations exceeded 1.53794 billion KRW, and over the past four years, more than 4.5 billion KRW has been raised.

On the 25th of last month, Sean held a dedication ceremony for the 14th house built for the descendants of independence activist Chae Bok-man in Jeongeup, Jeonbuk Province. Chae Bok-man was an independence activist who operated under militia leader Yoo Jang-yeol in the Jeonbuk area in 1909 and was posthumously awarded the Order of Merit for National Foundation in 1992 in recognition of his dedication to raising military funds to continue the independence movement. It is known that his descendant was diagnosed with a first-degree physical disability due to a sudden accident while participating in firefighting volunteer activities. Sean said, “We supported a ‘barrier-free’ house that removed physical obstacles so that the family of the descendant, who became disabled due to the accident, could live courageously again.” He added, “Thanks to the participation of the 815 runners, the descendants of independence activists can feel proud and live their remaining years comfortably.”
