Enhancing AI Assistant Experience with Personalized Suggestions

SK Telecom's artificial intelligence (AI) service 'A.Dot' is evolving into an AI personal assistant that helps with everyday convenience like this.
SKT announced on the 26th that it has enhanced user convenience through a large-scale service overhaul of A.Dot. The biggest features of this overhaul are ▲a natural conversation experience based on a large language model (LLM) ▲strengthened daily management functions ▲enhanced professional service experience through various agents such as music, media, securities, and movie ticket booking. To achieve this, the existing structure was significantly improved and completely revamped into a new UX that enables flexible conversations with LLM-based agents.
First, it introduces the 'Daily' feature that allows integrated management of everyday tasks and records such as schedules and notes. This integrates previously scattered functions within A.Dot like calendar, to-do lists, routines, and sleep tracking into one, enabling customers to easily manage all their daily tasks and records. By simply telling A.Dot as if talking to a personal assistant, users can save and manage appointments, meetings, and to-dos. The AI assistant experience in daily life is greatly enhanced by providing customized suggestions considering various situations such as weather and traffic, as well as the customer's tastes and preferences.
Additionally, through a multi-LLM agent that gathers global advanced large language models, users can experience various conversational AI models such as Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, and A.X. Users can select the engine according to their purpose to receive answers, and easily compare answers from different models for the same question. Within A.Dot, answers from seven latest LLMs can be output and compared at once for convenient use, and this service will be provided free of charge for the time being. In particular, for the Perplexity service, the two companies are jointly developing a Korean language-specialized AI search.
Moreover, specialized professional agent services are provided in each area such as music, media, securities, and T Membership movie ticket booking. The music and media areas support interactive conversations and provide content-related information. The securities agent offers not only market price information but also key data such as individual company performance, disclosures, and stock subscription schedules. T Membership movie ticket booking allows users to book tickets through conversation as if talking with a cinema staff member, recommending movies and theaters based on history and preferences to shorten the booking process. When the movie time approaches, A.Dot reminds users so they don’t miss it, providing an AI assistant experience.
SK Telecom will run a marketing campaign from the 30th for one month, offering a popcorn combo worth 7,000 KRW on a first-come, first-served basis to new A.Dot app users who book CGV movie tickets through T Membership movie booking. Kim Yong-hoon, head of SK Telecom’s AI Service Division, said, "Through this A.Dot overhaul, customers will be able to enjoy a more convenient and natural conversation experience as if communicating with a personal assistant. We will continue to provide AI services that save customers’ time and enhance convenience through ongoing innovation."
