Samsung C&T Construction Division announced on the 26th that it has been finally selected as the contractor for the redevelopment project of Sajik 2 District in Dongnae-gu, Busan.

The Sajik 2 Redevelopment Association held a general meeting on the 24th and approved this agenda. The project involves constructing five buildings with 927 households and auxiliary welfare facilities on the site at 156-27 Sajik-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan, ranging from three basement floors to 36 above-ground floors. The construction cost is approximately 449.2 billion KRW.
The site is within a 10-minute walk to Gyodae Station on Subway Line 1, Sajik Station on Line 3, and Dongnae Station on Lines 1 and 4. It is adjacent to Jungang-daero. The area is equipped with living infrastructure such as Homeplus, Megamart, and Sajik Market. The school district is also abundant, including Yeogocho, Nammun Elementary, Naeseong Middle, and Isabel High School.
The complex is named "Raemian Sajik Ellatio." The name "Ellatio," borrowed from Latin, means greatness and ascent. Collaborating with the global architectural design group JEDI, they designed Sajik's first sky bridge, which is 105 meters high and 43 meters long. Seven sky communities, including a dining lounge and sky terrace house, are also planned.
Additionally, all households will be oriented southward, and an integrated landscaping design connecting the two blocks into one complex is planned. Specialized educational communities such as a kids' library and private study rooms will be built. Through partnerships with renowned educational content providers, the project aims to maximize the locational advantages of the Sajik-dong academy district and create an education premium complex.
Kim Myung-seok, head of Samsung C&T's Housing Business Division, stated, "We will develop Sajik 2 redevelopment into a luxury complex that can become a new landmark of Busan, rewarding the association members with the highest pride and value."
