Hanyang has successfully secured the contract for the ‘Haengsin 1-1 District Redevelopment Project’ in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.

This redevelopment project, being promoted in the area of 222 Haengsin-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, involves constructing 10 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 24 above-ground floors, totaling 700 apartment units and ancillary welfare facilities, with a construction cost of approximately 180 billion KRW. The goal is to commence construction in March 2028.

The project site offers excellent residential conditions. Nearby are Garam Elementary School, Garam Middle School, and Seojeong High School, and living convenience facilities such as the administrative welfare center, Lotte Mart, and hospitals are well established. Additionally, Garasan Park is accessible on foot, providing a nature-friendly living environment.

Transportation convenience is also high. Haengsin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line is located just 5 minutes by car, and the Goyang Eunpyeong Line’s Changneung 3 Station and Haengsin Jungang-ro Station are under development, promising further improvement in transportation conditions. The proximity to Susaek-ro offers excellent access to the city center, and major road networks such as Incheon International Airport Expressway, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, and Jayu-ro are easily accessible.

Hanyang has been achieving consecutive contract wins in urban maintenance projects. In July, it secured the Busan Sambo Apartment Street Housing Maintenance Project worth about 100 billion KRW.

Besides urban maintenance projects, Hanyang has actively secured orders in trust projects such as ▲Cheongpyeong 3 District Apartment Construction ▲Gapyeong Daljeon-ri Apartment Development Project ▲Daejeon Cultural Park Private Park Special Project, as well as public projects including ▲Incheon International Airport Cargo Aircraft Maintenance Apron Facility Construction, achieving a total order volume of 1.5 trillion KRW this year.

In July, together with its group affiliate BS Industry, Hanyang signed a land sale contract for blocks B1 and B2 of the 1,600-unit Gimpo Pungmu Station Urban Development District apartment complex. As of August, it recorded an order backlog of 5.3 trillion KRW, securing five years’ worth of work relative to sales.

As of the first half of this year, Hanyang recorded sales of 477.9 billion KRW, operating profit of 23.3 billion KRW, and net profit of 57.3 billion KRW. Hanyang explained, “Although sales slightly decreased compared to the same period last year, stable profitability is maintained through improved operating profit margins via cost management.” In the second half, new sites such as Gimpo Bukbyeon 4 District Redevelopment, Cheongpyeong 3 District, and Gapyeong Daljeon-ri will begin construction.

A Hanyang official said, “Based on the ‘Sujain’ brand power, which has supplied 230,000 households nationwide including regional landmarks such as Cheongnyangni, Uijeongbu, and Cheongna, we will strengthen our competitiveness in securing contracts,” adding, “We will secure high-quality projects through diversification of contract channels and focus on stable sales centered on profitability.”
