Busan City will hold a 'Regional Win-Win Promotion Event' with Renault Korea at 10:30 AM on the 1st floor lobby of City Hall on the 26th.

This event has been organized to exhibit and promote Renault Korea's new car 'Grand Koleos', which is produced in Busan, and to boost domestic sales, thereby revitalizing the local economy and propelling Busan to become a hub for the future automotive industry.

Approximately 50 participants will attend, including Mayor Park, Stephane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Korea, Yang Jaesaeng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Park Inho, Standing Chairperson of the Busan Citizens' Solidarity for Economic Revitalization, and Cho Junghui, Standing Representative of the Busan Citizens' Organization Council.

The 'Grand Koleos' is the first outcome of the 'Aurora Project', Renault Korea's new car development and production strategy.

The event will proceed in the following order: unveiling ceremony of the exhibition vehicle, commemorative delivery ceremony for the purchase of the first production car, and an explanation of the regional win-win promotion.

The event will begin with participants jointly unveiling the 'Grand Koleos', which will be displayed in the City Hall lobby until the 6th.

During the commemorative delivery ceremony, the CEO of Renault Korea plans to hand over the new car to Mayor Park to mark the city's purchase of the first production 'Grand Koleos', symbolizing regional cooperation.

In the explanation of the regional win-win promotion, the executive vice president of marketing at Renault Korea will introduce the promotions available for those who purchase the new 'Grand Koleos' and outline upcoming public events.

On this day, Renault Korea will express its commitment to do its utmost so that the new car 'Grand Koleos', produced in collaboration with partner companies, will drive the continuous development of the regional future automotive industry ecosystem and revitalize the local economy, helping Busan become a global center for the future automotive industry.

Mayor Park will have a breakfast meeting with Guido Haak, Vice President of Renault Group, who is visiting Korea for a media event on the 27th. They plan to have in-depth discussions on current issues and development plans for fostering and building the ecosystem of Busan's future automotive industry.

Mayor Park and Vice President Guido Haak also met in Paris, France on June 20 last year, where they agreed to cooperate for the development of Busan's future automotive industry through large-scale investments in future car production facilities and more.

Mayor Park Hyungjoon said, "I am deeply honored that our city is hosting the exhibition of the 'Grand Koleos', the first product of the Aurora Project, through the regional win-win promotion event," and added, "I ask for the special attention and support of our citizens for the 'Grand Koleos' made in Busan. As the 'No. 1 Dedicated Corporate Support Officer', I will spare no effort to ensure the successful implementation of Renault Korea's Aurora Project and the establishment of the Eco Cluster Center."
