The Moving Hana Bank for Seniors was launched to improve financial accessibility and provide more convenient financial services for senior customers in non-metropolitan areas, where the number of branches is relatively low and visiting a bank is inconvenient.
Hana Bank is launching a mobile branch service called "Moving Hana Bank for Seniors" to support senior customers in non-metropolitan areas who face difficulties using financial services due to the expansion of non-face-to-face financial transactions.
The vehicle, equipped with a smart counter, portable terminal, and instant card issuance machine, visits 'Hyoryeong Senior Welfare Town' and 'Bitgoeul Senior Welfare Center' in Gwangju Metropolitan City once a week to provide services mainly used by seniors, such as ▲account opening and reissuance ▲new and reissued check cards ▲pension receipt and deposit/withdrawal transactions.
A Hana Bank official stated, “We plan to expand the Moving Hana Bank for Seniors to various non-metropolitan areas to improve financial accessibility and convenience for senior customers in financial blind spots who find it difficult to visit banks. We will continue to make efforts to protect financially marginalized groups, including the elderly, and take the lead in fulfilling our social responsibility in finance.”
