Lotte Construction Wins Redevelopment Project for Jeonnong 8 District

"Lotte Castle Brand Town to Be Developed in Dongdaemun-gu Area"

Lotte Construction has secured a contract worth 705.8 billion KRW for the Jeonnong 8 District housing redevelopment project.

On the 25th, Lotte Construction announced that it was selected as the construction company at the general meeting held on the 24th at the auditorium of the University of Seoul in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, for the Jeonnong 8 District housing redevelopment project.

The Jeonnong 8 District housing redevelopment project involves constructing 19 apartment buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to 32 above-ground floors, totaling 1,750 households, along with auxiliary welfare facilities, on site 204 in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. The total construction cost is 705.8 billion KRW.

Including this contract, Lotte Construction has achieved a total order amount of 1.6436 trillion KRW with projects such as Sinbanpo 12th and Cheonho Woosung.

Lotte Construction redeveloped Cheongnyangni 4 District in Dongdaemun-gu into the tallest 65-story 'Cheongnyangni Station Lotte Castle SKY-L65' and secured the largest complex, Imun 4 District. With the newly secured Jeonnong 8 District, they plan to establish a Lotte Castle brand town throughout the Dongdaemun-gu area.

Lotte Construction proposed an innovative plan to create a massive central plaza of 4,000 pyeong and a landscaping area of 10,000 pyeong in Jeonnong 8 District. They plan to complete Jeonnong 8 District as a new landmark complex with an innovative exterior and community floor specialization.

The complex is conveniently located near Cheongnyangni Station, which serves Subway Line 1, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and the Suin-Bundang Line, offering excellent transportation conditions. There are also transportation benefits from GTX-B and C lines, as well as the Myeonmok Line (Cheongnyangni-Sinnae-dong). Schools such as Jeongok Elementary, Jeonnong Middle, Jeonil Middle, and Haeseong Girls' High School are within walking distance.

A Lotte Construction official said, "Based on our long-accumulated construction know-how and brand power, we will quickly advance the project and make it a landmark representing Dongdaemun-gu."
