According to the 'Bucheon Wonmi-gu Accommodation Facility Fire Report Recording' obtained by Rep. Yoon Gun-young of the Democratic Party on the 24th, the first report of the incident was received at 7:39:20 PM on the 22nd.

The initial caller said on the phone, "This is the Jungdong XXX Hotel, and there seems to be a fire outside." The dispatcher repeatedly confirmed the exact hotel name and then asked about the location of the fire. The caller replied, "Here in the guest room, room 810."

The dispatcher instructed to dispatch fire trucks first and repeatedly asked the caller to slowly state the hotel name, also confirming the fire location. Then the dispatcher asked, "Have you evacuated?" and the caller answered, "No, I haven't evacuated."

The dispatcher then advised, "Please evacuate people first, evacuate," and when the caller said "Hello," the caller only responded with "Ah." The dispatcher asked, "Hello, have all the guests evacuated?" but the caller only left a response of "Ah..." before the call was disconnected.

About four minutes after the report, at around 7:43 PM, the Bucheon Fire Station's first response team arrived at the scene, but flames were already visible from afar on the 7th floor of the hotel, and smoke had spread inside the building.

Meanwhile, the fire resulted in 19 casualties, including 7 deaths and 12 injuries.
