Lotte Insurance announced on the 25th that its lifestyle-oriented insurance platform 'ALICE' and sales support platform 'wonder' simultaneously won awards in two categories at the ‘ICT Awards Korea 2024’ held on the 22nd at the Science and Technology Convention Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.


Now in its 21st year, the ICT Awards Korea is an ICT sector award hosted by the Korea Information Science Promotion Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Gyeonggi Province. Each year, it selects and honors companies that present innovative and excellent digital content.


ALICE, which celebrated its first anniversary earlier this month, won the ‘Grand Prize’ (Digital Insight President’s Award), equivalent to the highest award, following the ‘Grand Prix’ in the app and website quality category.


ALICE is a customer-friendly platform that allows users to easily subscribe to various lifestyle-oriented insurance services with simple authentication, check detailed insurance contracts, and quickly file insurance claims. It received high praise for minimizing the limitations customers might experience when using the app. ALICE marked its first anniversary earlier this month.


wonder, launched in December last year, won the ‘Silver Prize’ (ICT Awards Korea Chairman’s Award), equivalent to the silver award, in the digital content & marketing category as a launch promotion site. At the time of launch, Lotte Insurance prepared a launch promotion site to allow users unfamiliar with wonder to experience its process in advance. Indirect experience services such as a ‘sample mock exam’ to prepare for the insurance planner qualification test and ‘checking expected income’ when contracting insurance for one’s family increased user accessibility, earning positive evaluations.


A Lotte Insurance official said, “ALICE and wonder, developed with the goal of mobile-centered digital transformation (DT), have received external recognition as excellent digital content through this award,” adding, “We will continue to innovate into an even more ‘customer-friendly platform.’”
