The 3rd Youth Friendship Online Baduk Tournament, which plays a significant role as a bridge between Muan County and Shangshu City in China, successfully concluded on the 22nd.


Now in its third year, this tournament was hosted and organized by Shangshu City and the Shangshu City Baduk Association, respectively. Seven players from both Muan County and Shangshu City participated, competing through an online Baduk platform with real-time on-site broadcasting.


The Muan County representative team included Moon Siwook (2-dan) from Namaek Elementary School, Lee Jiwoo (2-dan) from Buju Elementary School, Ahn Jiwon (3-dan) and Choi Euijae (5-dan) from Oryong Elementary School, Lee Jinhyeok (4-dan) from Yeongsan Elementary School, Lee Seungjae (4-dan) from Okam Middle School, and Seo Sooyoung (5-dan) from Maria High School.


The Shangshu City representative team consisted of Jin Jahan (2-dan) from Gonsungho Foreign Language School, Oh Yehyung (4-dan) from Lunhwa Foreign Language School, Hwa Jicheong (3-dan) and Wang Julil (4-dan) from Experimental Elementary School, Go Hamui (4-dan), Baek Moksung (5-dan), and Jeong Ukjin (5-dan) from Sangseong Elementary School.


The tournament was conducted as a team competition over two hours and concluded with a victory for Shangshu City.
