Established on September 1, 2013, the Silla University Sasang-gu Childcare Meal Management Support Center is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year and operates a variety of programs to prevent picky eating among children and to establish healthy and proper eating habits.
On the 22nd, to commemorate the 11th anniversary of its opening, the center held a puppet show titled "Vegetable Land Kongkongi" to help children improve their unhealthy eating habits and to deliver educational effects about healthy living in an engaging way.
The performance, held at the auditorium of Silla University's Biomedical Science Building 2, was presented in two sessions at 10:00 and 11:15, attracting a total of 822 audience members and receiving a great response. For those who could not attend in person, the performance was also uploaded to the center's YouTube channel until the 23rd to be enjoyed online.
Kim Mihyang, Director of the Silla University Sasang-gu Childcare Meal Management Support Center, said, "I hope this performance has helped promote health and happiness by fostering proper eating habits among children in the district," and added, "We will continue to do our best to implement various projects for the children of Sasang-gu."
