S-Oil Ulsan Welfare Foundation Donates 100 Million Won Worth of 'Love Rice' for Chuseok

S-OIL Ulsan Welfare Foundation delivered Chuseok Love Rice worth 100 million won to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea at 3 p.m. on the 23rd at Ulsan City Hall.

The donation ceremony was attended by Ulsan Mayor Kim Dukyum, S-OIL Ulsan Complex Head Kim Bochan, Ulsan Community Chest of Korea Chairman Jun Youngdo, and other officials. S-OIL Ulsan Welfare Foundation, in celebration of Chuseok this year, donated 3,276 bags (10kg each, worth 100 million won) of Love Rice to neighbors in need in the local community.

The rice delivered this time was purchased and donated by S-OIL Ulsan Welfare Foundation from local farms near the plant, produced using eco-friendly farming methods. Since its establishment in 2007, S-OIL Ulsan Welfare Foundation has purchased eco-friendly rice grown by local farms to support neighbors in need every year, while also contributing to increasing the income of local farmers.

S-OIL Ulsan Complex Head Kim Bochan said, "We hope that the rice provided this time will help neighbors in need in Ulsan celebrate Chuseok," and added, "Based on S-OIL's core value of 'sharing,' S-OIL will continue to strive to be a company that grows together with the local community through various social contribution activities."

S-OIL Ulsan Welfare Foundation not only makes donations through the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea, but also directly delivers funds to local social welfare organizations such as the Korean Red Cross Ulsan Branch and the Ulsan Council on Social Welfare, carrying out various social contribution activities for the local community.
