Busan Port Authority Holds Completion Ceremony for 3rd Class of SNS Supporters 'Biparang'

Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) held the completion ceremony for the third cohort of its official SNS channel supporters, "Biparang," at the BPA headquarters on the 22nd.

Biparang 3rd cohort, selected in June this year with a competitive rate of about 5 to 1, consisted of 10 local university students divided into three teams and was active from June to August for three months.

The Biparang supporters, who major in fields such as international trade, management information systems, and video content, produced 24 SNS promotional contents reflecting the latest trends such as videos, columns, and card news to deliver news about Busan Port from the perspective of ordinary citizens.

In particular, they conveyed a wide range of topics about Busan Port and BPA, including BPA's ESG management efforts, introduction of eco-friendly projects, and attractions at North Port Marina facilities that citizens can enjoy, in a way that was easy and entertaining for subscribers by reflecting the latest trends.

The completion ceremony began with an introduction of the activities, followed by the awarding of certificates, recognition of outstanding teams, sharing of activity impressions, a congratulatory speech by President Kang Junseok, and a group photo session.

Kang Junseok, President of BPA, said, "Thanks to the content filled with the fresh ideas of the MZ generation, we were able to promote BPA and Busan Port to the public in a more familiar way," and expressed his gratitude to the third cohort of "Biparang" members for their passionate activities over the past three months.
