Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 23rd that it donated a total of 11,500 children's traffic safety items to the Korea Childcare Promotion Institute, Gangnam-gu Childcare Support Center, and Songpa-gu Childcare Support Center.
The Yellow Card donated this time is an item that reflects headlights or sunlight to increase visibility while walking by about nine times. In Sweden and other European countries, wearing children's reflective items is mandatory for pedestrian safety. Previously, 8,300 items were donated to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station and Dongjak Police Station.
The donated Yellow Cards will be distributed to parents of infants and young children or childcare facilities. An additional 9,600 items will be delivered to daycare centers in Gangnam-gu and Songpa-gu within this month. Lee Man-sik, Executive Director of Volvo Cars Korea, said, "As a brand that values safety and family as core values, we have expanded the campaign to raise awareness of traffic safety and protect children safely."
