- Five 'Motivational Mentors' Including Patent Attorney Cha Hyerin, YouTubers Somjji and Baemil Assemble
SKY tutoring platform Seoltap announced that it will hold an online motivational talk concert for teenagers struggling with career choices.
Through this concert, Seoltap aims to help teenagers explore various career paths by communicating more closely with popular YouTubers and influencers who have diverse jobs and stories. Patent attorney Cha Hye-rin will be the first speaker, delivering a lecture on the topic "Why I am no longer afraid of challenges."
Additionally, travel YouTuber 'Moreunji,' with 340,000 subscribers, will engage with teenagers on the theme "How to Find the Life You Want." Furthermore, five famous influencers including 'Somjji,' 'Baemil,' and Mushroom Bookstore will participate as mentors to lead a talk concert about various ways of life for students. This motivational concert will be held from the 25th to September 8th, and the concert videos will be streamed through each speaker’s official YouTube channel. The concert is open to anyone, even those who do not use Seoltap.
This motivational talk concert is part of the 'Seoltap Potential Club,' which aims to motivate teenagers. The 'Seoltap Potential Club' is an online community that creates opportunities for teenagers who want to grow to interact with each other. Seoltap is currently conducting events such as 'Study with Seoltap,' which helps students form habits, and 'Sports Day Sponsorship,' which revitalizes them, targeting members of this community.
So far, Seoltap has been leading a culture of 'mentors for teenagers' through various social and cultural activities, establishing its position as a future education edutech. Well known as 'iPad SKY tutoring,' Seoltap matches students with optimal tutors from prestigious universities based on data reflecting student tendencies, and provides personalized education by offering proprietary content considering individual learning achievements.
In particular, Seoltap features tutors who are university students that have recently experienced college entrance exams and learned through trial and error. Currently, Seoltap has secured a tutor pool of 15,000 people, including not only SKY graduates but also those from KAIST, POSTECH, medical schools, veterinary schools, and more, considering the diversity of students’ career paths. These tutors provide emotional support by helping with students’ mental care and sharing entrance exam know-how beyond simple knowledge delivery.
Seoltap CEO Ko Ye-jin said, “I am glad that teenagers can discover their potential through meetings with life seniors,” adding, “Seoltap will continue to strive to provide many opportunities so that teenagers can grow into healthy adults.”
