Possible Involvement of Numerous Female BJs
A former organized crime gang member turned YouTuber and internet broadcaster (BJ) has been sent to the prosecution on charges of using and selling narcotics.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul sent Kim Mo (33) to the prosecution under custody at 8 a.m. on the 23rd for violating the Narcotics Control Act.
At 8:03 a.m. that day, Kim appeared before the press wearing a hat and mask to cover his face. When asked by reporters whether the allegations of group sexual relations were true, he denied, saying, "No." When asked if he had anything to say to his subscribers, he said, "I'm sorry," and then got into the escort vehicle.
Kim is accused of using narcotics such as ketamine and selling narcotics worth tens of millions of won at a friend's residence and other locations from October 2022 to August last year.
Kim introduced himself as a member of the domestic violent organization 'Chuncheon Sikgu-pa' and has been active as a YouTuber and internet broadcasting BJ. Currently, Kim's YouTube channel has about 260,000 subscribers.
The police, having received tips related to Kim, detected circumstances involving many surrounding individuals during the investigation.
The police believe Kim acted as an intermediary distributor supplying drugs to a famous BJ, Park Mo (35), and are tracking the suppliers who provided the drugs. In addition, about ten people, including African TV BJs suspected of purchasing or using drugs from Kim, their sponsors who provided star balloons, and executives and employees of entertainment companies related to the BJs, have been booked. Among them, the police are considering applying for an arrest warrant for Park.
Furthermore, during the investigation into Kim's drug use, the police detected circumstances involving many female BJs around him, and it is known that the investigation will include whether group sexual acts occurred and whether group drug use was regularly conducted.
