Professor Shim said, "Receiving the Polar Star Order is a reward for the dedication and efforts of all my colleagues who worked hard for the development of the ICT industry and software fields in both Korea and Mongolia," adding, "I hope that mutual cooperation between Korea and Mongolia will continue to be maintained and expanded."
Meanwhile, Professor Shim has been serving as an industry-academia cooperation professor in the School of Computing at KAIST since August 2020 and is currently working as an invited professor.
