According to the report, Xiao Ma Yuren recently visited a luxury brand store but was ignored by the staff. She claimed that when she said she wanted to look around the clothes, the store employees treated her with an unfriendly attitude. They ignored her request for drinking water, and when she asked to see new products, they only pointed to out-of-season clothing. Additionally, when she asked to see a dress, the staff looked elsewhere with an annoyed expression. She suspected that the reason she was ignored by the staff was because she was carrying a luxury brand handbag from a competitor.

She stated, "After leaving the store, I called the Chinese branch of the brand, but I was again met with what seemed like dismissive treatment." Angry, the woman returned to the same store two months later carrying a large bag containing 600,000 yuan (about 112 million KRW). She was accompanied by a personal assistant and a friend. After trying on several clothes and saying she would purchase them, she handed the large bag filled with bundles of cash to the store staff. After the employees counted the money for two hours, she suddenly changed her attitude and said, "I don't want to buy now. I'll just leave," and then left the store. She concluded her post by saying, "I couldn't help the staff improve their work performance."

Chinese netizens responded to the story with comments such as, "The ending is so satisfying. I've always wondered why luxury store employees are so arrogant," "They sell luxury goods, but that doesn't mean they themselves are luxury," and "I don't think the staff's attitude will change because of this."

Previously, in 2021 in Zhejiang Province, China, a controversy arose when a sales clerk twice kicked out a sitting customer from a high-end brand store within 15 minutes. The customer claimed to have been discriminated against for appearing shabby and without makeup. As the controversy grew, the store manager apologized to the customer.
