Korea Investment & Securities analyzed on the 23rd that NCSoft has reached an important turning point.

Jung Ho-yoon, a researcher at Korea Investment & Securities, explained, "Except for Project TL, which was released at the end of last year, there has been no significant new release for more than two and a half years," adding, "Starting with Hoyeon on the 28th, 3 to 4 titles are planned for release in the second half of this year, and more than 4 titles next year."

He continued, "It is worth paying attention from the perspective that new releases are resuming," and added, "The recent continuous decline in stock price has reduced valuation pressure, which is also a positive factor for investors."

He analyzed, "NCSoft is still criticized among investors and users for having an excessive pay model in the Lineage-like style and for making games that are not trendy," and said, "Success in the new releases is necessary for performance improvement and stock price rebound to follow."

Researcher Jung emphasized, "It is necessary to give people trust in game development capabilities and changes in the pay model," adding, "Ultimately, user evaluation of Hoyeon is important." He predicted, "If Hoyeon, which emphasizes trendy style and controls as strengths, unlike NCSoft's past games, receives good reviews, expectations for upcoming new releases will increase."
