'Korean Promotion Expert' Professor Seo Kyung-duk of Sungshin Women's University received an unexpected death threat.

On the 22nd, Professor Seo posted on his social media (SNS), "On the 20th, three police officers visited my home," adding, "They said they came to check if I was safe after a death threat post appeared online."

He continued, "A very serious death threat comment was posted under an article by a certain media outlet, and after netizens confirmed it, they immediately reported it to the police," explaining, "The police have now launched an investigation into the poster."

He stated, "Until now, some netizens from Japan's far-right groups and China, obsessed with Sinocentrism, have been sending death threats via email and SNS DMs for a long time," adding, "This is because I have always been on the front lines responding justly against historical distortions by Japan and China," indicating that this was not the first time he had received death threats.

He then expressed his feelings, saying, "However, it was quite a shock that such comments appeared publicly on a domestic portal's comment section," and "My wife and daughter were also greatly shocked by this incident."

Furthermore, he said, "The reason I am making this situation public is to ask one favor from my followers," and warned, "If you come across such posts in the future, please be sure to capture them and send them to me via DM. I will no longer overlook these and will respond strongly through legal measures."

Professor Seo is a renowned Korean promotion expert who actively engages in sending protest emails to relevant organizations regarding issues with Japan and China. On the 15th, in celebration of Liberation Day, he announced that he and actress Song Hye-kyo donated 10,000 guidebooks to the 'Lee Tae-jun Memorial Hall' located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
