New Hybrid System Equipped... Two Trims Released
Lexus Korea is launching a facelifted model of the compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) UX300h, equipped with the 5th generation hybrid system.
Lexus Korea announced on the 22nd that sales of the 2025 UX300h will begin.
This vehicle replaces the existing UX250h model. It is equipped with the 5th generation hybrid system featuring a lithium-ion battery, high-output motor, and a lightweight transaxle. Combining a 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine with a high-output motor, it delivers a total system output of 199 horsepower (ps). The government-certified standard fuel efficiency is 18 km per liter on a combined basis.
Lexus's new braking system, 'AHB-G', has been applied. It is explained to suppress discomfort during regenerative braking and provide smooth braking feel and excellent pedal operation. The vehicle posture control function independently distributes braking force to the front and rear wheels to maintain stable vehicle posture. The shift knob uses a 'shift-by-wire' electronic transmission system.
It is also equipped with various convenience features. Representative examples include ▲Lexus Connect ▲Lexus 10-speaker premium sound system ▲Lexus Climate Concierge ▲hands-free power back door. Additionally, it features the 'Lexus Safety System Plus' with safety exit assist (SEA), which uses BSM sensors to detect and warn of approaching bicycles or motorcycles from the rear when exiting the vehicle, road sign assist (RSA), and proactive driving assist (PDA) functions.
Alongside this, a high-performance model, the 'UX300h F Sport', will also be released. It features a dedicated vertical mesh pattern spindle grille and jet black plating for the exterior. Inside, it is equipped with F Sport exclusive seats and three multi-information displays. It is differentiated by a 12.3-inch full graphic meter that changes the instrument panel design according to the driving mode.
Furthermore, it is equipped with a performance damper that secures torsional rigidity during cornering and contributes to stable handling, and a variable control suspension that adjusts ride comfort according to the drive mode to actively support stable ride comfort even on irregular road surfaces. Other exclusive specifications include ▲paddle shifters ▲active sound control ▲Sport S+ mode.
The prices including VAT are ▲UX 300h 2WD at 52.4 million KRW ▲UX 300h F Sport at 58.7 million KRW. Detailed information can be found on the official Lexus website and at Lexus authorized dealers nationwide.
Kang Daehwan, Vice President of Lexus Korea, said, "The 2025 UX 300h is an improved model with a young and dynamic design, enhanced driving performance compared to the previous model, and a new hybrid system," adding, "We hope you experience the unique driving sensation of Lexus hybrid through the UX 300h."
