KGM Commercial announced on the 22nd that it has decided to export five electric seat buses to Paraguay in collaboration with the Korea Automotive Technology Institute. This is the first time the company has exported complete vehicles since its establishment.
This export order was secured as part of the Automotive Technology Institute's overseas support project (ODA). Along with the export of complete vehicles, the plan includes building an automotive parts center in Paraguay and supporting eco-friendly automotive technology through pilot distribution and operation of electric buses.

Recently, Javier Jimenez, Paraguay's Minister of Industry, along with political and business figures from Paraguay and officials from the Automotive Technology Institute, visited KG Mobility's headquarters in Pyeongtaek and KGM Commercial's Gunsan factory. They agreed to strengthen cooperation going forward. The company stated that they plan to hold an event in November, when the electric seat buses will be delivered locally, inviting high-ranking government officials including the President of Paraguay.
KGM Commercial previously exported buses to Indonesia in a semi-finished form during the Edison Motors era. According to company officials, this is the first time exporting in the form of complete vehicles. Using this export as a stepping stone, they plan to strengthen local sales in the Asia-Pacific region. The company said, "Along with expanding the domestic market, we will increase overseas sales in markets such as Southeast Asia by utilizing our overseas sales network and grow into a comprehensive eco-friendly commercial vehicle company."
