This product is a health supplement developed to help growing children who frequently experience eye fatigue due to prolonged exposure to digital devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. It features 500 mg of a highly concentrated, premium individually approved ingredient extracted from the fresh leaves of Chajeogi-a plant with red perilla-shaped leaves in the mint family-of which only 2% is extracted, as well as a rich content of luteolin glycoside (L7DG), an ingredient that can help reduce eye fatigue. In addition, Chajeogi extract was confirmed to significantly improve accommodative near point and convergence near point-key indicators of eye focus adjustment-through a human application study conducted for the first time in Korea on smartphone users, thereby helping to alleviate eye fatigue. The product also contains essential nutrients for growing children, such as zinc, selenium, and vitamin E, offering five-fold complex functionality including support for normal immune function, cell division, and antioxidant effects.
To increase accessibility for children, the packaging features a panda character that is familiar to them. The product also addresses children's picky tastes by offering a sweet and tangy elderberry flavor and adding coconut jelly for a chewy texture. It can be taken once daily, before or after meals, by children aged five and older.
A representative from Samjin Pharmaceutical stated, "Since the eyes are a vital sensory organ and, once damaged, cannot be restored to their original state, it is important to pay close attention to eye health during children's growth period. We hope that regular intake of EyeEYE Strong Chajeogi Jelly will help alleviate eye fatigue caused by digital devices."
