The reduction in operating loss was achieved by significantly cutting costs. Kurly closed its Songpa logistics center and opened new centers in Changwon and Pyeongtaek equipped with automated process facilities. This improved the order processing capacity of Kurly's entire logistics infrastructure. Additionally, packaging costs were reduced by 19% compared to the previous year.

The total gross merchandise volume (GMV) for the first half of this year reached 1.5 trillion KRW, a 13.8% increase from the same period last year. The GMV for the second quarter rose 14.4% year-on-year to 765.8 billion KRW. Kurly stated that fresh food, along with new business areas such as seller delivery (3P) and beauty products, contributed to this growth.
