Expressing Gratitude and Encouragement to Eulji Exercise Personnel for Their Hard Work

The Gwangjin District Council (Chairperson Jeon Eun-hye) visited the district office's comprehensive situation room on the 20th to inspect the 2024 Eulji Exercise training status and to encourage the efforts of the staff on duty.

On this day, Chairperson Jeon Eun-hye, along with council members Kim Mi-young, Kim Kang-san, Lee Dong-gil, Shin Jin-ho, Kim Sang-hee, Choi Il-hwan, Go Sang-soon, and Seo Min-woo, observed the 2024 Eulji Exercise situation and checked the preparatory posture. They received a training status report from the Urban Safety Division, the department in charge. They also expressed gratitude for the hard work of the employees participating in the Eulji Exercise despite the hot weather.

Chairperson Jeon Eun-hye stated, “Given the escalating crisis situation on the Korean Peninsula due to recent provocations by North Korea, I hope everyone will do their best to establish security awareness and maintain a flawless defense posture through stronger mutual cooperation and coordination.” She added, “The Gwangjin District Council will continue to communicate closely with key institutions to ensure community safety and dedicate itself to legislative activities.”

Meanwhile, the 2024 Eulji Exercise will be conducted over four days until the 22nd, aiming to verify the effectiveness of wartime preparedness plans and to check wartime mission execution procedures. Public institutions, military units, and other organizations within Gwangjin District will participate in this joint civil-military exercise to establish a national emergency preparedness posture.
