56th Graduates Donate 20 Million Won to School Development Fund

Challenge Talent Award and 'Seongseokdong Scholarship' Also Presented

The Graduate School of Business Administration at Dong-A University (Dean Choi Kyuhwan) held the 2023 Fall Semester Master's (MBA) Degree Conferment Ceremony.

The ceremony, held on the 20th at Dawoo Hall on the Bumin Campus, was attended by Dean Choi Kyuhwan, Vice Dean Lee Kyunghwan, faculty members, Song Kiyoung, President of the MBA Alumni Association, other alumni officials, Sung Seokdong, Chairman of Sukeun General Construction Co., graduates of the 56th class, and current students of the 57th and 58th classes.

On this day, Lee Hyeyoung, President of the Student Council representing the 56th MBA graduating class, delivered a school development fund of 20 million KRW.

Dean Choi said, "It must not have been easy to balance work and studies for two and a half years, but overcoming these difficulties was not only a result of individual effort but also the outcome of unity, encouragement, and consideration among classmates. I hope you will pioneer a new horizon in life with everything you have experienced at the Graduate School of Business Administration and with the motto 'Strive fiercely in the process, be humble in the outcome.'

Song Kiyoung, President of the MBA Alumni Association, stated, "I would like to thank the professors, the administrative support office, school officials, and families who have guided you to successfully complete your studies. I hope you will develop relationships not only with your classmates but also with senior alumni, and communicate together as a special family within the Dong-A University MBA Alumni Association."

On this day, Lee Hyeyoung, President of the Student Council who received her degree, was awarded the 'Challenge Talent Award' in the name of the President of Dong-A University. Graduates Hwang Deukkyu, Jang Minho, Kim Hoonam, Kim Misook, Kim Naeun, Hwang Inseok, Kim Honggi, and Park Cheolryun received the Dean's Achievement Award, while graduates Moon Sangwoon, Yoon Jieon, and Hyun Seonguk received the MBA Alumni Association President's Achievement Award.

The 'Sung Seokdong Scholarship' was awarded to graduates Yoon Jieon and Park Junghyun. This scholarship, established through a business agreement between Dong-A University and Sukeun General Construction in December 2022, provides 6 million KRW annually to outstanding graduates.
