The Seocho District Council (Chairman Go Seon-jae) visited the comprehensive situation room for the '2024 Eulji Exercise' on the 20th to establish national emergency preparedness, including wartime situations, received a report on the training status, and encouraged the personnel on duty.
On this day, Chairman Go Seon-jae, Vice Chairman Lee Hyun-sook, Operations Committee Chairman Yoo Ji-woong, and Councilor Ha Seo-young received a report on the second day of the Eulji Exercise from the Director of the Safety City Division at the comprehensive situation room set up on the second floor of the district office. Afterwards, the council delivered snacks equivalent to 130 servings to express encouragement and gratitude.
Chairman Go Seon-jae stated, "The Eulji Exercise is an important process to enhance response capabilities in real situations and to establish a safety foundation for district residents," adding, "I hope you do your best to establish national emergency preparedness through realistic training that can respond immediately to emergency situations."
Meanwhile, the '2024 Eulji Exercise' is a nationwide joint emergency preparedness training involving civilians, government, and military, conducted over four days from August 19 to 22.
