Kim Hwansik, CEO of Hanjung NCS, Donates 20 Million Won to Support Neighbors in Yeongcheon City

Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Donates 10 Million Won

Yeongcheon City (Mayor Choi Kimoon) announced on the 20th that Hanjoong NCS Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hwansik) donated 20 million KRW and the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Son Donggi) donated 10 million KRW as funds to help neighbors in need.

The donation ceremony was attended by Kim Hwansik, CEO of Hanjoong NCS Co., Ltd., Son Donggi, Chairman of the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Kim Hongseok, Secretary General of the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Hanjoong NCS Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of automobile parts and energy storage devices. Since 2014, the company has been leading social contribution and the culture of sharing by carrying out the “Love House” project to improve the residential environment of low-income and vulnerable groups for 10 years, as well as donating scholarships for nurturing talent.

Kim Hwansik, CEO, said, “I feel rewarded to be able to provide even a little help to neighbors in need in the community,” and added, “We will continue to strive to be a company that fulfills its social responsibility through consistent attention and support for the underprivileged.”

Since its establishment in 1994, the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been at the forefront of protecting the rights and interests of local businesspeople and advancing commerce and industry. Since 2003, it has set an example in the community by consistently practicing sharing through donations for neighbors in need, contributions to overcome low birth rates, and scholarships.

Son Donggi, Chairman of the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “I hope our small act of sharing brings hope to neighbors going through difficult times,” and added, “I hope this donation will be used meaningfully for those in need.”

Choi Kimoon, Mayor of Yeongcheon, said, “I sincerely thank Hanjoong NCS Co., Ltd. and the Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry for practicing the value of sharing even in difficult economic times,” and added, “We will ensure that this precious donation is delivered well to low-income households in crisis due to disasters such as floods and heat waves.”
