In front of the National Assembly, a series of wreaths with various congratulatory messages celebrating the reappointment of Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, continue to line up, but the ruling party has voiced criticism over this. On the 19th, Seo Beom-su, Secretary General of the People Power Party, mentioned the wreaths during his opening remarks at the party's floor strategy meeting held at the National Assembly, saying, "They are creating congratulatory wreaths with strange messages that are beyond imagination," and criticized them as "truly strange people." He added, "This morning on my way to work, I saw congratulatory wreaths for Lee Jae-myung's reappointment placed in front of the main gate of the National Assembly," and mentioned the wreath messages one by one.

The messages Seo mentioned included: "Lee Jae-myung's score in this party convention is 95 points. There is no demerit for Lee Jae-myung," "If you see a river, it's a riverview; if you see the sea, it's an ocean view; if you see Lee Jae-myung, it's I love you," "South Korea has four seas: the East Sea, the South Sea, the West Sea, and I love Lee Jae-myung," "I'm turning my back on Lee Jae-myung now. Please carry me," "From today, the meaning of 'the best' in the Korean dictionary is Lee Jae-myung," and "Only Lee Jae-myung is the sole hope of South Korea," among others.

Regarding these wreath messages, he said, "They are creating congratulatory wreaths with messages that are beyond imagination." He continued, "They are truly strange people; it seems the world is going in a strange direction," and added, "At least our party must engage in politics based on normal thinking for the country and the people."

Meanwhile, Lee Jae-myung secured reappointment by winning first place with 85.40% of the votes in the party leader election held at the party convention on the 18th. In his acceptance speech and press conference, Lee emphasized the 'people's livelihood party' several times, stating, "The greatest duty of politics is to care for the lives of the people and create hope."
