At around 9:30 a.m. on the 20th, Seoul City Council member Lee Jong-bae held a press conference in front of the NHRCK building in Jung-gu, Seoul, stating, "Councilor Jeon's remarks clearly constitute a human rights violation and therefore an apology should be recommended," and added, "We ask for a recommendation to issue an apology and establish measures to prevent recurrence."

On the same day, Councilor Lee filed a complaint with the NHRCK requesting a thorough investigation and a recommendation for Councilor Jeon to apologize and establish measures to prevent recurrence.

Councilor Lee emphasized, "Councilor Jeon's statement calling First Lady Kim a 'murderer' at the party convention, spreading false information, clearly violated her human rights, including her right to personality and honor," and added, "Due to the baseless 'murderer' remark, many posts supporting Councilor Jeon's false claims have been posted on internet communities and article comment sections, causing irreparable human rights violations to First Lady Kim."

Previously, Councilor Lee also filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against Councilor Jeon for defamation by spreading false information under the Information and Communications Network Act.
